Vehicles must be at least 30 years old. Special Interest number plates are issued.
JCCA members can only have a non-Jensen vehicle on the Special Interest Vehicle Concession Scheme (SIVCS) if they already own a Jensen.
You will also need to submit evidence of identity and proof of eligibility. Ordinarily you would be required to provide evidence of current membership of a Queensland incorporated vehicle club or association, but a letter from the JCCA (which is incorporated in Victoria) will be accepted in lieu. Contact the JCCA Authorized Person or Vice President to obtain the letter.
A dating certificate may be required if TMR cannot verify the date of manufacture for your vehicle from an existing or previous vehicle record, import papers or the identification plate. If a dating certificate is required, a JCCA official will certify the vehicle’s authenticity and year of manufacture.
Applicants must allow sufficient time for application forms to be processed by an authorized JCCA officer.
To apply, complete registration concession application F3937 and take it to your nearest TMR service centre or, if you live in a rural area, a QGAP office, Magistrates Court or local police station which provides vehicle registration services.
