Vehicles must be more than 25 years old. As all Jensen cars in SA fall into that age category, all Jensen models are eligible for Conditional Registration.
JCCA members can only have a non-Jensen vehicle on Conditional Registration if they already own a Jensen.
Historic, left hand drive and street rod vehicles may be conditionally registered and benefit from reduced fees. Registration is available for periods of one, two or three years. A vehicle may be used on the road for up to 90 days during any one year period of registration.1
An applicant must be a financial member of a recognized motor vehicle club. If the JCCA sponsors you for Conditional Registration, the club will notify the Registrar of Motor Vehicles by 28 February each year of any member on Conditional Registration who ceased to be a financial member of the JCCA on 1 January.
Applicants must allow sufficient time for application forms to be processed by an authorized JCCA officer.
To apply for Conditional Registration, complete an MR1 application for registration and third party insurance form and an MR334 Approval for Registration of a Vehicle on the Club Registration Scheme. The MR334 must be signed by the authorized person nominated by the JCCA.
Lodge the forms at a Service SA customer service centre together with the prescribed fees and any exemption (if applicable) issued by the Department of Planning, Transport and Infrastructure, Vehicle Standards, Kateena Street, Regency Park, SA 5010.
Special licence plates are not issued for Conditional Registration.
